All the boring stuff… this page doubles as a sleeping aid.

Policies and procedures… they are a grind we know but we have to have them! In this section we have the “Dog Policy”, the “Cancellation and Refund Policy”, and the legal jargon ‘Terms and Conditions” / (Section 3 is Park Rules).

Dog Policy:

Will your pup be joining you? Yarra Valley Caravan Park (“YVCP”) have some rules that we ask you to follow to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience.

  • Dogs are welcome all year round but must always be supervised and never be left unattended. There are other people, kids and wildlife that may not enjoy interacting with dogs.

  • Your dog’s safety is entirely your responsibility, and the park is not liable for any injury (or death), however caused, suffered by your dog(s). Snakes are possible in a natural environment.

  • A maximum of 2 dogs permitted per site unless otherwise discussed and agreed.

  • Dogs must be kept on a lead less than 2 meters in length at all times, or in a fenced area within your site. Please do not erect dog runs such as lunge lines, tethered runs etc.

  • Dogs are not permitted in any shared facilities (amenities block, camp kitchen, park office, residential areas). Clear access to these facilities must be possible for people not comfortable around dogs.

  • All dog poops must be immediately collected in a plastic bag and disposed of in the waste bins around the park. Failure to do so will incur a $25 cleaning charge.

  • Any washing of your dog or dog items (like bedding, blankets etc.) strictly prohibited in amenities, LAUNDRY MACHINES or camp kitchen.

  • YVCP only allows only dogs that are healthy and free of parasites e.g., worms and fleas etc., with all vaccinations up to date – (proof of this may be requested by Management).

  • Yarra Valley Caravan Park is governed by Victorian laws and local council regulations regarding companion animals.

  • Dog owners shall be responsible for any damage, loss or injury caused by the dog/s and shall be liable for any costs incurred because of damage, loss or injury caused.

  • Failure to advise the inclusion of a dog/s at the time of booking may result in your booking not being honoured and forfeiture of all monies paid.

  • Management reserves the right to terminate the guest’s occupancy due to any breach of the Dog Policy. Dangerous or aggressive dogs are not permitted in the park.

  • YVCP reserve the right to terminate the occupancy of any guests whose dog is deemed to be displaying anti-social behaviour (including nuisance barking) or where we receive verified complaint/s from other guests witnessing antisocial behaviour by your dog.
