Yarra Valley Caravan Park
Stay tuned to experience an ‘old school’ caravan park
Welcoming guests in summer 25/26
Our online booking system will ‘go live’ on December 01 - 2025
Family owned and operated.
We will have BIG powered and unpowered caravan / motorhome / camping sites available by January 2026. Stay tuned and follow us on socials. Scroll through the page and you’ll see the link.
Located in Yarra Junction - as the name suggests we are at the crossroad of multiple holiday choices:
Warburton (including the new world class Mountain Bike Park, Redwood Forest and Mt Donna Buang) are just minutes away.
Victoria’s premier wine (micro-brewery and distillery) region is less than 25 minutes drive.
It’s the transit town for Gippsland and Mt Baw Baw onward travel, and;
Only 30 minutes drive from Lilydale train station where you can park and take a metro train direct to Melbourne CBD.
…all within minutes of supermarkets, service stations, community swimming pool and fitness centre, restaurants, markets, shops and more!
Set on 8 acres of sunny, beautiful, quintessentially Australian land - stay with resident Koalas, Kangaroos and Wombats on MUCH LARGER than usual power/water sites and gloriously spacious and sunny unpowered grass sites.
This is an “old school” caravan park. Big sites, basic but spotless amenities (bathrooms and laundry), no jumping pillow or pool, but open space and a gorgeous small river as the boundary - teeming with life.
If you enjoyed the simplicity and affordability of caravanning and camping in the 60’s and 70’s… or you see your grandparent’s photos and yearn for that simplicity - we are the park for you!
Accommodation Options
Large Powered (& water) sites - 10m x 8m. Turfed pad for annex / seating. Close to amenities including laundry. Some drive-through. Renovating to welcome guests in January 2026 (hopefully December 2025).
Unpowered grass sites - Lots of space between them. Suitable for self contained travellers. Dump Point close by. Sunny and quiet. All sites levelled for comfort.
Will be ready in January 2026.
Permanent Residents - We have a small community of permanent residents and we are currently renovating an additional 10 cabins for over 55’s seeking a safe and welcoming community. Follow us on FB to keep up to date with availability.
Boho Cabins - we have a small number of cute little timber cabins that will come on line in the future for self-contained accommodation. That’s phase 3 in 2026.
Why choose us?
Our many furry guests (who don’t pay their tree fees) will tell you the park is owned by people who care for them and the beautiful environment the park is set in.
The park has a long history… but this chapter will be its finest!
Owned by two local families who believe in old school hospitality and generous spaces to enjoy carefree holidays.
The park is currently undergoing a renovation and will be able to welcome guests in January 2026.
Modern caravan parks feel jam-packed. Small sites and people everywhere. We’ve decided to NOT be that! Instead, we want you to feel that this park is like the one your grandparents used to take you to - Lots of space. Room to relax and enjoy your break.
Our powered sites are all minimum 10 x 8 metres and our unpowered sites are spaced out more like bush camping… lots of space between designated spots. Set on over 8 acres we share the space with Koalas, Kangaroos, Wombats, Deer, Rabbits, myriad birds and more…
Whilst you’ll feel a million miles away… you’ll actually only be 5 minutes from supermarkets, shops, hotels, nature attractions PLUS we are the closest accommodation to the world class Warburton Mountain Bike Park trail head at Wesburn Park.
